Studio Policies

Full studio welcome letter and policies will be sent to families upon registration. See below for some general guidelines around how lessons work at my studio!

Private Lessons:

Private lessons are offered on a weekly basis. It is expected that students will attend every lesson on time and be prepared with necessary materials. For students ages 12 and under, one parent is expected to attend each lesson so as to be able to assist in practice during the week. Parents of older students are not required to attend lessons, but are more than welcome to attend if they so choose. All lessons and chamber coachings will take place at my home studio in San Clemente.

Tuition:

Tuition is all-inclusive and calculated based on the length of the lesson. Tuition can be paid through individual invoicing or through the use of charter school funds.

Savannah’s Violin Studio is an approved Vendor for Cabrillo Point Academy and SCALE Leadership Academy. Charter school funds can be used to pay for all tuition related expenses.

Sibling Discount (applies only to non-charter families): Families with multiple children taking lessons will pay full price for the first student and receive $5 off every sibling after that.

Tuition Fees:

- $40/30 minute lesson

- $60/45 minute lesson

- $80/60 minute lesson

Practice Expectations:

One of the most crucial elements of learning an instrument is taking the time to practice consistently during the week in between lessons. In my studio, I expect practicing to be a regular part of each student’s weekly routine and by choosing to be a part of my studio, you are agreeing to make this commitment. I require a minimum of 5 days of practice per week, and highly encourage students to find ways to add in an extra day or two as much as possible!

This guideline enables me as your teacher to ensure you are learning well, receiving quality instruction in return for your investment, and making tangible progress towards the goal of learning to play violin. It is my job to show up to lessons prepared and invested in the process, and I expect the same of my students, for the integrity of my studio and the integrity of the families within it.
